It started out sad, yet after reading my comments and a new found blog thanks to the guidance Mad Bull and Dr. D , I located wken's blog and read his uplifting entry of thinking, posting and acting positive. Thanks you two for leading me over there!!!
So today, despite the overhanging of apparent sadness, I decided it was time to look at life more positive. Hubby took Ms. Prissy Princess over to her Nannie and Poppie's house for the night, my oldest decided he wanted to come home and play on his computer and PS2, while hubby and I went shopping for things needed in the house.
While we were out shopping we decided that there were a great deal of sales going on that were one day and with Valentine's Day upon us, we'd go browse to see what each of us wanted. Well, we also decided that the deals were to great to pass up and Valentine's Day came early for us.
While we were shopping, little Ms. Prissy Princess called on the cell phone to talk to mama, I get on the phone and this is how our conversation goes:
Mama: Hello love muffin
Ms. Prissy Princess: Hi mama wv' muff'n, I'm staying the night here and now I'm eating dinner want to know how much I ate?
Mama: why of course sweetie what did you have for dinner
Ms. Prissy Princess: chicken, green beans, lots and lots of corn, bread, salad and *in a little whisper* ice cream
Mama: Ice cream huh?
Ms. Prissy Princess: yes I mean if that is okay with you mama
Mama: *laughing* honey, you can eat all the ice cream you want as long as you brush your teeth before bed
Ms. Prissy Princess: but it is choclate ice cream mama
Mama: yeah sweetie and? You are staying with Nannie and Poppie tonight eat all you want *smiling wickedly*
Ms. Prissy Princess: *sounding real proud of herself, yelling for poppie* Mama said I could eat as much as I want poppie so fill me up!!!
Ms. Prissy Princess: well mama gotta go love you come pick me up first thing tomorrow I LOVE YOU mama!!!
Mama: I love you too love muffin sleep well remember brush your teeth
Ms. Prissy Princess: okay mama Nannie wants to talk to you
Nannie: Geeee thanks Jamie she'll never go to sleep
Me: yeah and??? laughing, well I gotta go now have fun..........hangs up!!!
My son is sitting over here shopping on sporting sites and limiting my ability to wander on the net *humpf*, but surely he'll soon have to go to bed right?
So my rambling is about as thought provoking as I'm going to get tonight ~ I'm in a good mood, I've read some GREAT reads ~ I've even caught up on a few that I've been behind on and for the record Dr. D.....photo's are a no no on Hubby's blog of me at least ~ LOL if interested I'll email you a private pic of me *fully clothed I might add* :lol
Well I'm going to get off here so hubby can hook up "OUR" Valentine's Day gift. Stay safe everyone!!!

Well thanks for mentioning me so often. My post today is not a very positive one, but another that adresses the crap our 'wonderful' (rolleyes) government is dishing out. But, fear not, there still is a lot to give thanks for. :-)
