Well I was awaken for the second time this morning by the phone. Amy called to tell me to turn on my TV. My first noise to awaken me from my sleeping slumber was a large boom sound.
Amy began telling me what had happened this morning as I'm sure most of you are already aware is the shuttle has exploded. I found more information on our local tvs web site which also includes streaming video.
We are awaiting a news conference out of Washington to find out if they have any knowledge of how this happened.
It is a tragic day for everyone, but more so for the families and friends of the people who lost there life. There were several individuals who are from our surrounding area that were on the shuttle I'm hearing on the news.
All of this sad news and still haven't had my coffee so my mind is still very fussy!!

I had just read a good post at wKen's when I saw the CNN news coverage... Let us try to be positive about this. At least they died doing something they loved to do. Maybe their families can take comfort from that.
Agree with Mad Bull.
Thank you both for your uplifting comments, I went and checked out the blog in question, via your sites, you are right GREAT blog there!!! I agree with both of you ~ yet in a fit of sorrow of lossing a loved one it is sometimes to remember they were doing what they loved and wanted with full approval........*shurgs*....my heart goes out to the families that lost so much, but I refuse to think of things negatively, things happen for a reason and only God knows what the reason and why our time has come and I leave it in his capable hands.
