Well it was requested I post the Texas *weed* Flower for everyone's viewing pleasure ~ it took me some time to get my mother n law to send me these but she finally came through for me :smile.
Here is the actual flower ~ please note the weeds :smile

My personal favorite photo is as follows :biggrin ~ hooticie mama as Patti has named me now rears her head :lol.

Thanks to friends of mine in Scotland that is my coaster :smile. That answers the question of what the Scots wear under those kilts or better stated what they don't *wink*
Ohhh now back to the flowers :scatter ~ my mother n law took this one this year.

I'd put up North Carolina's flower, however, getting photo's from my mother n law is much easier than getting them from my parents :smile. So that will be for another time.
Well I'm off back to the fun in the sun here in Texas ~ book in hand and sunglasses ~ have found my haven from summer hell for now ~ kids have been angels since we've spent the day out by the pool and heading back out.....tata for now ~ my boyfriend cop decided to check in today knowing what a beautiful day it was and was sadly disappointed :lol ~ he swore he would catch me in normal lay out form ~ then took note of all the kids and just mutter well shit school gets out to early HA!!!!
SOMETIMES I WAKE UP GRUMPY ~ AND SOMETIMES I LET HIM SLEEP

Notice the weeds? Awww, gurl!! There are weeds all up off around beside and within the flowers, but not the state flower itself. Not a weed!! Now you must find and post our state animal. I believe its the nasty armadillo.
The kilt photo is cute. I've always wanted to look under the skirts just to see if they are going commando.
Patti ~ work with me here ~ dandylions *however you spell it* are considered weeds and they have a bloom as well ~ I enjoy joking around about Texas basically because I'm not from here *S*~ yes the state animal is an armadillo ~ for North Carolina it is a Ram...........Tarheel baby here ~ glad you enjoyed my coaster!!!
I enjoy joking around too. Please dont think I took offense because I didnt. So you arent a Texan, huh? I'll have to rib you about that comment too. (I see you got here as fast as you could!!) I once told a cop that I got there as fast as I could when he pulled me over--he was not impressed!
I have enough Scottish heritage to wear a kilt and I would SO totally let my "caber" flap in the breeze. Got to be more comfortable than going commando in pants, something I never do.
Bloobonnetz R pretty, weeds or not. Despite my blogging name, I am a native of Virginia. Flower: dogwood; animal: no idea; state bird: middle finger (oh wait, cardinal).
We will definitely need to have a Northeast Tarrant County blogging party or something. The DFW Bloggers always have their things somewhere in that nasty city to the east. It's our turn!
The bluebonnets are pretty Jamie. They really don't look like weeds at all.
As for what they do or don't wear under a kilt...well as a male I really couldn't give a fart! The family jewels must be quite cold and err shrivelled if they really go without (not to mention what the 'weather' should do for their sperm count).
As for summer heat, don't even mention. We were a scorching 34 Celsius here today!
Sorry, the sever for my site is down, hope it won't take too long for them to solve the problem.
Lower sperm count ~ yeah baby talking my language since I made Speed ELIMINATE his sperm count all together after Ms. Prissy Princess!!! The words "safe territory" leaps to mind *wicked smile*.....the dogwood T-Bone seems to be a popular "flower" for states yet it is actually a Tree..........that is North Carolina's state flower also.........as far as a blog get together....Patti let us know when you are in town and we'll collect our calanders and set a date........we can do it our house or where ever everyone feels comfy..........just let me know
Dr. D....they may have a lower sperm count, but those puppies that get through are strong and cranky! lol
Leave it to my mom to kill my excitment damnit!!!! Going to my corner to pout!!!
Say what??? Read it again. I just said that they were virile despite the cold..... At least....if the Scots I know are any example! lol
Actually, you guys have got it wrong. A cold environment is good for (favours) production and maturation of sperm. This is one of the reasons why our balls hang in a pouch away from the heat of the body. So, if anything, those guys in kilts should have a pretty high count. Sorry if you got the wrong idea by the way in which I worded the comment...good fun chat though! ;-)
Damn Dr. D, kill a fantasy, I figured the colder the environment the safer I am as far as being "fertalized"...........so are you saying if they live in "hotter" *wink* states, the sperm count it VERY LOW??????????????? *big smile*
