With all the bad news that has bombarded our newspapers / TV's/ radio's and the like ~ I found another article featuring the little girl who caused me to cross my legs that I posted about the other day.
It is good to read about something uplifting once in awhile :smile.
Now since my faith in man kind has been restored ~ I have family and friends along the Carolina coast hunkering down for the storm due to hit sometime tomorrow. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers for their safety. Yet, I just heard, the location of where it is due to hit my parents are going to be in it's direct path.
For those waiting for the "Teenage Years" I'm still in deep edit mode I didn't realize all the stunts I had pulled until starting to write about them :biggrin. However, my mama recently bought me this large photo album to organize all my photo's from childhood to recent. In my spare moments today, I pulled out all my picture's and found some photo's to share with all of you. Yeah, I'm feeling brave, you get to see how ugly I really was as a child!!!
The first photo is of me at 8 month's old ~ I'm so not impressed with this whole issue of having my photo taken ~ not much has changed with becoming an adult!!
And as my search continued, I ran across a photo I didn't even realize we had, a photo of one of my collection of strays, the billy goat!!! That is my brother in the photo with me ~ and the clothing styles back then were HORRID!!!
EXPERIENCE IS A WONDERFUL THING ~ IT ENABLES YOU TO RECOGNIZE A MISTAKE WHEN YOU MAKE IT AGAIN!!!!
Apparently my buddy Ryan is somewhere in the vicinity too... I will pray for them.
I hope they come through the hurricane just fine, Jamie. I'm sure they are old hands at this, and know just how to close everything up.
Look at it this way.....nothing can happen to them until I've met them and spilled all that I know about you! *G*
Ok I have a complaint...I went to Speed bumps blog....he hasn't done any for September....well unless this stupid computer is playing up or Im just plain thick
