Well after months of trying to get together it has finally happened. The Texas bloggers finally got together face to face!!! We had been planning this for about two weeks and kept joking something was going to happen where it wouldn't happen ~ well :lol several things happened!!!
Patti called me last night and said she'd come pick me up. She called me on her way over here saying she had to stop at the bank and then she'd be here. It took her longer to get from the bank to my house than she anticipated. So I rang her cell phone to find out where she was ~ while on the phone she goes "I have a cop behind me ~ what is he doing?" Then I hear "AAHHHH SHIT he is pulling me ~ this is turning into a very expensive lunch" :lol. I tell her I'll call Texas T-Bone and tell him we're going to be late to wait for us.
I call and low and behold he has already left and we all had not exchanged cell numbers. So I call the resturant where we are to meet up at and tell them at the desk ~ if a man comes in saying he is waiting for someone just tell him he is dealing with women and of course we are late.
Well Patti, her cute kids, and myself arrive at agreed upon spot and we look and look and look and NO Texas T-Bone. So I call his office thinking well maybe he just wasn't at his desk when I called before ~ still no answer ~
Patti, the kids and myself go ahead and get a table and wait for him ~ still he is a no show!!! So we go ahead and order and have us some great laughs together. Lunch is coming to a close and my cell phone rings ~ because I had left T-Bone my cell number on his work machine. It was T-Bone already back at work.
So we decide to go check out where he works ~ he tells us to call him once we get there and he'll come outside ~ I laugh and tell Patti I think he's scared we are actually in our fishnet stockings :lol.
So I call his office when we get there ~ busy ~ I call again ~ busy ~ hey what is up with this!!! You'd think he was at work or something!! Finally he answers and comes outside to meet us. We had a great visit and hopefully we'll be able to organize better for more visits together.
Patti brought her camera but I'm waiting for her to email me the photo ~
It was great meeting you guys looking forward to doing it again soon and maybe this time we'll all get to eat lunch right T-Bone? :biggrin.

IT was great meeting you after all this time too! I'm on the phone with you right now. Cant talk and type at the same time. Cant talk and drive at the same time either. I'll be back.
...it is brilliant when you finally get to meet people that have become friends because of the way you write/think...I now class my best friends as the people I met through the 'net :^)...glad you had a good time...
