For those who are going to shake their heads, you might get bored quickly, but there are "some" who will be glued reading my view of their New Year's. :biggrin
And what better way than by analogy by song and whom better than the Eagles in all their wonderful years of glory to offer bits of advise through their lyrics???
If interested ~ keep reading :cocktail I know of two who are going need that :cocktail :biggrin!!
Let me tell you a little story about a friendship.....not just any friendship....a no matter what happens bonding friendship. Always smooth ummmm HELL NO....always bumpy NEVER.......always true friends OF COURSE!!!!
In this friendship advise is sought about relationships and on the eve of a New Year what better time to give this friend advise from one of their favorite song artist ~ hell the music of choice tonight so fits them :smile.
Side note: if you have read further please keep up the artist in question is the Eagles
First chosen song of the evening ~ Witchy Woman ~ first let me clarify NO I'm not discussing me :lol ~ but my wavy haired and movie lipped friend this song fits to a tee :mouse
However, even Witchy Women can have conflicts in their love lives which moves us along to another fitting song which brings me so much pride to actually hear the words "YOU MAKE ME SICK BITCH BUT YOU ARE SO RIGHT"!!! :biggrin
The song ~ Lying Eyes ~ who would ever want to live in a world like that?? Such misery, sadness and just plain unwarranted pain!!!!
Then through Lying Eyes the whole dream process sets in and the song "One Of These Nights" become their outlook in life ~ hell you have to have something to look forward too and OMG when it happens everyone's electricity will flicker :smile.
Yet, have no fear, advise has been taken, actions have been made to become happy in their life and every intention of "Take It To The Limit" will become their new motto in the year 2004!!!
Thank goodness we are just talking about "Take It To The Limit" to become their 2004 theme song, and not something as morbid and possessive as "Hotel California". As beautiful a song as it maybe, it is just plain possessively morbid!!! OK for the record don't make me shed blood over this relationship trying to kill the dinner to retrieve my friend OK!!!! :smile Just as long as we understand one another :lol
Happy New Year!!! *wicked wicked giggle* LOVE YA!!!
Jamie

ok, call me nosey, but who the hell are you talking about here??
great songs though!!
I *thought* I knew who you were talking about (especially with "Take it to the limit"), but if Redeagle isn't sure... then maybe I'm wrong.
Anyway, dropped by to wish you a Happy New Year, you nut.
Happy New year woman! I haven't been cruising blogs much the last few days, so I have catching up to do. Wishing you and your family the best.... sorry to hear that you had flu strike your home at Christmas time. Ugh.
