That is all I needed last night is one pair of shoes for Little Ms. Prissy Princess that matched!!!

Today I discovered that every room has floors!! Okay well the playroom has been the designated dumping zone, but my downstairs is really taking on the look of a house :biggrin. The next task is to get pictures hung and then I'll be happy!!!

Luckily, we have solved the master bedroom closet dilema!!! One of our old neighbors is a carpenter and came over tonight and took a lookie see in what he could do for us ~ :mouse tonight he informed me he'd put together a list of supplies he'll need and get busy on building me a closet that both Speedbump and I can fit in ~ :smile. Mama *being me* is reallllllllll happy since I look in my closet and see the hanger thingy sagging badly and that is just my clothes and not all of them *sniffle*.

And to think in a few days I'll have to search for things to blog about other than my moving issues ~ :hum

Well since I've been so out of the loop on blogs lately I think I'm going to go and do some reading and see how everyone else has been fairing during my departure and hopefully drum up some hits on my site again :smile.

Good Lord when I was complaining before the move about having way too much stuff it was confirmed when the move began!!!! Luckily, we began the move the week before the actual "BIG WEEKEND". I started the day we got the keys of the new house moving the kitchen over and putting it all together. Then I began the very careful move of all my breakables, which I have most of them up, but many still packed away in boxes waiting their turn for display.

We finally got at least one computer operational last night, hense why I am able to share my nightmare with everyone :biggrin.

Now let's see what joys have we had to endure thus far :lol

A smooth transaction this has not been to date and we aren't even half way done yet :cry. So while I sit and enjoy a cup of :coffee I figured I'd jot down some of the mishaps thus far :smile.

Or at least what I'm willing to write about :smile

I started reading my email after I made the post below.........

BOY a must read!!!! Please keep in mind it was sent to me on an email list and clearly states AUTHOR UNKNOWN........I just found it profound and wanted to share it to all who skip across this neck of the internet..........

First I'll start out with clarifications for one of my readers :smile. Either what was said to me tonight was a compliment, as I know she has seen my photo, or else it was an insult, but hey I'm working with the first conclusion :lol. For the record my youngest child, aka Little Ms. Prissy Princess, is FIVE YEARS OLD, NOT FIFTEEN!!! Q15 is my son who is actually FIFTEEN almost sixteen. They are my only children. Okay wait, my three dogs and hubby are also my children, they are the only two I have given birth too, how's that??? :biggrin

Now that is out of the way, they know who they are :biglaugha I'll just refer to them on this blog as my co-driver on the bus she and I both will be driving to hell.........'all aboard' :lol

Well I woke up this morning and looked around my house and the first thought that ran through my mind was, WHAT ARE WE THINKING!!!!

Life is really kicking into over drive around our house ~ we are moving into a larger house, MINUS a pool :mouse!!! It is really only about 2 miles from where we already live, but the mere thought of moving things is MORTIFYING!!! Crossing my fingers and praying to win at least a portion of the lottery tonight to pay for movers to come in pack it all up and move it over there for us :smile.

I've always said I have wayyyyy too much shit, well ~ IT IS OFFICIAL ~ I have too much shit and I haven't begun with children's rooms yet :cry!!!! And then to top things off we'll be moving during March Madness, oh well, my satellite doesn't carry the channels any longer, or at least at the moment so no biggy I guess *sniffle*. Ohhh and did I forget to mention, both kids will be out for spring break. Yeah this was well planned out :lol

On a lighter note ~ I'll leave you with a little joke my in-laws sent me today ~ wonder if they are trying to hint I'm not in a good mood lately :shrug .

EVERYDAY I BEAT MY OWN PREVIOUS RECORD FOR NUMBER OF CONSECUTIVE DAYS I'VE STAYED ALIVE!!!!

Okay, I understand that people had issues over the whole Superbowl boob shot, but gezzz give it a rest already!!!! I turn on my TV today only to find out that every channel associated with CBS has been removed from our satalite.

Let's think about this ~

I wouldn't have a problem really if it were just one channel, nor am I upset that MTV is removed, I never watched it anyways. However I am chapped about two of our Disney channels and every Nick channel being removed, the comedy channel and that is when I stopped looking!!!

All I know is they had better adjust my bill accordingly and I don't mean by a stupid dollar either!!! :angry!!!!

Direct TV is looking more like the satalite server to be going towards at this moment as from what I read in this article they still have all their channels up and running with no interuption.

Why punish the public because networks can't have a better handle on taking risky chances on whom they put on stage for such public events. I mean really, when the Osborne's hosted some awards show, there was back lash in regards to the language, but channels just didn't disappear over night. Make the artist who cause such an uproar pay and make restitution again don't in a "corporate" decision decide to remove programing from the public that PAYS for it!!!!

I'm off my soap box!! But yes it really chaps my hide over this ~

I AM NOBODY AND NOBODY IS PERFECT ~ THEREFORE I'M PERFECT!!!

Well I experienced my first "hockey game" tonight. The "Stars and the San Joze Sharks".

First, I must admit, I am not a fan of hockey. My theory, okay before tonight was, men putting on skates with hockey sticks was just a more high powered version of football or wrestling.

Neither here nor there, hubby has two clients whom had GREAT seats for the game tonight. They insisted that I come along, as they said there were going to convert me. Well I must admit they did a GREAT job. I HAD A BLAST!!!!! I'm going back for another game actually :smile!!!

What even made the night better was meeting up with my old next door neighbor as she was there also!!! She looked GREAT!!! We shared hugs and tears and also informed me on Friday we have a coffee date :mouse. She also gave me a HUGE hug with tears on the eve of the most major loss of my adult life, as far as animals go, my Dust Mop!!! March 8th, 2004 will be a year that my world was ROCKED!!! And not in a good way.... *footnote ~ she is also the one who made arrangements to have my Dust mop cremated and she personally brought him back to me!!!*

However, I'm fortunate, I had LOADS of support, from family and friends to help me through this up heave that any dog owner must endure, however, and most importantly, I'm luckier than most, I had 18 years with my Dust mop.

This weekend has been a lot of reflection, a great deal of happiness, a lot of worries for my friends, but at 1:20 a.m. March 8th the day of my life being readjusted, I feel happy, adjusted and content!!!

Thanks to the friends whom FORCED me into this hockey game, which by the way if you follow hockey the STARS WON 4-0. I also meet some Nascar fans, Kristi will be happy about that issue, whom we had a long talk about the different tracks, which I also think Kristi would have LOVED to be a fly on the wall on that topic....but even Speedbump said "damn I didn't think you knew that much". *pats self on the back on that one :smile".

We get home and I have a very very enjoyable and never too often enough phone conversation with Buffy, one of my "MOMS", and she helped me see some issues I've been wrestling with in the correct light...........but one of our conversations revolved around the movie "The Passion".

All in all this weekend has been hectic, but enjoyable and heading off to bed, I know I have family whom loves me, friends whom love me and a hubby and children whom think I hung the moon. As I drift off to sleep.....life gets no better than this!!!!!! Maybe the difference of my day today and outlook on life consisted of attending church this a.m. ~ with a wonderful service and the feeling of life was just beginning!!

I'll end this post, not only for myself, but for other friends whom have lost pets, they know who they are and they also know this verse ~ and YES this is the first time I've read it but it is time ~

TODAY WAS WELL WORTH THE MAKE UP!!!!

Thank Goodness it is over and time to relax!!!!!! Yesterday, Little Ms. Prissy Princess officially turned FIVE YEARS OLD!!! So our day today consisted of me getting up WAY before I like doing, heading off to work. Leaving right from work and racing back over to our side of town for the birthday party at McDonald's. Thank goodness we went that route the thought of so many little 4/5 year olds running around my house makes me cringe!!! Loaded up from there to head out to an already in progress baseball game with Q15.

Speedbump called me in route and informed me to hurry up because Q15 was pitching. So I'm speeding along with a grabby grabby birthday girl and finally reach the baseball field to watch Q15 doing an awesome job in pitching. However, the team suffered their first loss of the season :sad. They are now 9 and 1.

Then back home to begin the nightmare of packing up the house. Ohhh wait, I haven't made that announcement here yet have I?? Well yes we are moving :smile. More on that later ~

So here I sit catching up on email and news ~

Have you ever thought about the meaning of extended families in a child's life?????? This is a topic dear and close to me on several reason's ~ let's see if I can follow through my train of thought :smile.

Was reading the news tonight online when my main page popped up this article. This will be something interesting to keep track of to see where politicians lie on the issue of same sex marriages.
