Status again :biggrin ~ it took me doing the stupid YMCA dance IN PUBLIC ~ but hey according to my son Q15 "I ROCK" ~ I'll take that any day of the week even if I have to embarase myself :lol I guess a dear friend of mine for years and years was right ~ let him know it hurt but then don't say anything at all about it again ~ kill it with kindness and start correcting what "HE" thinks is wrong with you ~ that particular friend was so right!!! Thank you friend and you know whom you are :biggrin!!!
Tonight friends of ours invitied us to a baseball game ~ if you have read my blog long enough you know I HELL HATE BASEBALL!!! I only suffer through games because well my eldest will pay for my rest home :biggrin ~ anyhoot ~ no we didn't see the Rangers we saw the minor league team here called the Wildcats.........I danced the twist with one of the cats....Little Ms Prissy had her pic taken with the smallest "cat" .........and with a group of about 6 teenage boys I managed to do the YMCA dance with them all ~ Q15 was tickled pink.......I guess I made "Mom you ROCK" status because his friends were telling him how cool he was because their parents were there looking at me as if I had fell off my front porch rocker.....:lol
Also during the night I had one of the workers bitching about not being able to smoke in the "area to watch the game" treating smokers as second class citizens yada yada yada.........told me and my friend hell I'm 40 fuck'em....I laughed and looked at him and said "you're 40???? How old do you think I am...be honest you won't hurt my feelings.........." He looked hard and said "Ohhh man that is hard to tell.............my gut is saying 26 but my heart is saying 30......." I laughed and said "what are your eyes telling you I'm married the rest of your antaomy means nothing to me" :lol ..........he laughed and said "okay you are 30 at best" .................... I laughed really hard........ "Told him to for further reference to go with his eyes.....I am 38....." His mouth hit the floor trust me that was such an ego boost!!!!
Can you believe I actually enjoyed a baseball game and actually watched some of the game ~ I floored Speed that I even knew some of the calls and the like....I'm catching on.........hell I have too I have a child who loves and plays the game I'm stuck having to watch a sport I HATE........they don't even play songs to the end........*HUGE POUT*........
But I did have fun.......thanks L and J for the tickets we had a blast with everyone!!!
