What Is Donald Thinking????

| | Comments (4)

Okay I know what he was thinking, but OMG BRADFORD????? :cry However, I can see that Donald is making a statement and a statement he did make tonight ~ in case you are wondering what I'm talking about I'm talking about the APPRENTINACE *okay however you spell it I'm too tired and lazy to do spell check* I'm so sad that Bradford is gone *sniffle* he wasn't bad to look at either :biggrin

Now to an interesting email that was sent to me that made me stop and think this could be good blogging material :smile are you afraid yet :lol

Anyways read further if you dare:

Okay so one day I'm chatting up T at work and decided to check my blog email account, I begin weeding through all the spam email, complaining the whole time to T to fix it :biggrin when I run across an email from someone who just happened across my blog and wasn't spaming.......:biggrin By the way welcome P, and not Penny I'm not talking about you ~ I'll get to you in a bit ~ :lol

*side note* before I go any further I want to say this to the person I've been emailing just recently back and forth with ~ welcome to my site and you brought out a good blogging bit in your last email ~ I sure hope you don't mind me putting you on the spot like this :smile ~ hope to hear more from you and get to know you even better............

Anyhoot, the reason I'm bringing up this email is because after an exchange of emails or two and I think I found my twin out there somewhere :smile ~ she wrote to me and told me about reading about blogging "rules" and how you can't believe what anyone writes.

To some degree I think that is correct, however, I don't think it is true across the board. I'm very selective on whom I read, I either know them in real life or they have recommended me to a blog to read. However, when someone takes a step back from me because of reading "rules" and the such, I think I must speak out.............

I know hard to believe that of me isn't it :lol

Anyhoot, I am who I am online and off, this is my world and I'm glad to say they know me here ~ and no I'm not speaking of whom reads or doesn't read my blog ~ I'm speaking of "my own world" you know those voices that speak to me to post..........ohhh wait that is T :lol.

So I want to pose this to my few readers are the blogging rules correct??? Do we lie about ourseleves???? I mean I know it happens I'm not new to this internet issue, but if you have to lie about yourself WHY?????? Personally, I think that is too much to keep up with ~ tell a lie and then have to remember that lie yada yada yada ~ hey I'm blonde I have brain cells I cherish okay when I'm not killing them with alcohol. :biggrin

However I think my new founded friend via email through a search brought out a good point and one I am going to ponder and would like some input on and hope that we as a group of NON blogging liars can give a better concept of what "blogging" means. Hell I blog and don't understand the concept other than it is my dribble :biggrin.

Yet another thing to ponder ~ my mother n law in all her great email wisdom sent me another profound email ~ :lol enjoy!!!!

WHY WE WANT THE TOLIET SEAT DOWN!!! toliet seat

It's hard to make a comeback when you haven't been anywhere.

ok, I'm not really sure what 'rules' you're talking about here...(it is nice to know that you've named the voices in your head after me though LOL)
as far as not believing what anyone writes...well, I have no reason to lie, and if I was going to, I'd be alot more creative about it than my site has seen lately!!
I do know there have been alot of things done in blogland for money...kids dying of cancer and whatnot...that were boggus...however I think for the most part most bloggers are pretty honest, to the ones who are not I would say why not submit your story to a publisher if you're so desperate for money LOL

Hi, All! This is Paige, the other "P". Here is my paranoia with the whole deal. A while back, I met someone online who ended up being not who she portrayed to be. I won't go into the details, but it totally freaked me out. I guess, I am so darn naive, I assumed everyone would tell the truth. Anyway, I think there is too much chaos going on in my life right now, that it sounds like a damn soap opera. I couldn't make up junk better than this. (OK...since you guys don't know me, let me just say that I am in no way someone who thinks I am "all that" as my 7yr old daughter would say. I'm just saying that there is plenty to keep up with in my own life. I, too, would never dream of making anything up. Besides, what the hell is the point of it unless you are some mental case. (For those who are mental cases, don't start harassing me. .) So...when I happened upon these rules, it made me hesitate a moment. Pre-liar connection, I never would have even considered people would make stuff up. So...that is the background of it all.

Hope you have a fantastic weekend. Go Razorbacks!!!!

Paige

Hmmmmmmmmmm....
Paige, there's an entire class of people on-line who want to protect themselves, and create false personas. And, there's a group of people on-line who what to manipulate you, and leading you to believe they are someone they really are not, could be part of their game.

And then, there's the rest of us. ~T~ said it all....if we were going to lie about ourselves, we'd be a lot more creative about it.

I think that you can come to tell over time who is lying, and who you might be able to trust, but it pays to be careful.

Do you really have a list of "rules" for bloggers??
