I'm So Angry

|

I've discussed here about my parents pending move toWyoming. Well the day is upon me, brutally, I might add. My childhood home is sold to the buyer from HELL, my parents are in a motel tonight with a drive across country on the highest traveled holiday, and mother nature hits and causes higher gas prices and shortages in their first day of travel.

Read more if interested..

Let me set this up....my small town is on the boarder of NC and SC coast line. My parents have a Uhaul packed from ceiling to floor of 34 years of their life, a car dolly with that car packed from the ceiling to floor. My mother driving the V10 truck packed to the fullest; two dogs and two cats. Both my parents in their 70's, medical problems and exhausted.

Yeah if that isn't bad enough, I talk with daddy tonight and he gives me an assignment to make his trip easier. (He gives this to me because he knows regardless my feelings of this move, my parents are my life line and I'm like a hound dog with a raw hide bone getting the information!)

True to form, daddy wants me to find out what states he is going to be going through pulling such a heavy load on the first day has gas availablity and what price he is going to have to pay.

My first round of results, not so bad, he is okay ~ however I checked my email as I contacted friends of mine in the police departments in the states they are going to be traveling the first day. News progresses downward QUICKLY!!!

It is too late to call my parents and tell them such bad news so I just leave a message to call me ASAP. What I found out, in NC alone (in the mountain area which they have to travel) the gas prices are already 5 plus dollars a gallon if you can find a station that still has gas!!!! I also find out from this gas station that SC has the same problem.

Remember, or not, I have a brother in SC.

So, thinking I'm being a good sister, I call my brother!!! I should have saved the time and air from my lungs. To say that conversation went well is a lovers dream. Believe it or not everyone has disfunctional families, just on different levels. My brother and I hung up in a very bad manner with me saying you know "F*** YOU" and him saying I needed to find a brain and a life. Yeah, coming from a person with no wife or children yet the be all end all of information abound!!! I love my brother, but loving someone as much as I love my family, which includes my brother, hurt - anger - misjudgements - and arguements will develop. Yet, the love is still there.

Please note the lack of details!!! :biggrin

Yet lighter notes of this post................bragging rights!!!

Q17 is so studly ~ he has an arm that is being ranked in his Junior year of high school above college level. His hitting is finally coming on board!!! He is filling out and is just so ummmmmmmmmmmmm "studly" in apparence and academically excelling!!! His Junior year consist of Chemistry, Algerbra II, Spanish II, English III, US History Since Reconstruction, a free period and then baseball and is pulling a 95 overall average. I have much to be proud of with my oldest baby.

My youngest baby starts gymnastics on Tuesday and her school is beyond what I could imagine. Where do my children obtain such wonderful school studies and grades ~ apparently not from me.

I'm so proud!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of being proud~

One of my "other" children played his first skrimiage (however you spell it) football game and he just ROCKED!!! His first year on the field, he managed not only to be on the starting line, but the starting line of not only offense, but defense as well. And such an intelligent individual ~ how can one not just brag about him!!! You go baby!!!

Well it is time to hit the hay ~ I so wish that batman would give a jiggle to the other batcave...................................Robin misses you!!!

Tootles and night everyone
