Okay My Hen Peckers

Speedbump took Ms. Prissy to go see her brother play his baseball game, to give me some peace and quiet to sleep in my drug slumber. Normally this at least eases the pain to a manageable level. Well I called Speed about 2 hours out begging him to come home, he obliged, telling me the game was over and he and the kids were heading home.

By the time he made it home, he was one child short, and I was crying and begging him to get me to the emergency room. Yes people you read that correctly I volunterarily BEGGED to go see a doctor.

Apparently, it is a good thing I did. Once we got there, instead of waiting for hours on end, they rushed me right in. If I had know that before I would have claimed that was my problem awhile ago :smile. However, it wasn't long before I found out why I was being rushed along. I apprently was at stroke level blood pressure and a headache like I had was a sign of a possible stroke. GREAT add that to my list!!!! :angry

My blood pressure at admission was 204 over 98 then at mid check it was 208 over 110 apparently it kept rising because they came in and gave me heart meds. Then they finally came in and gave me a hefty shot in the backside to relieve the pain in my head. They informed me it was going to be very painful, which it was, however they neglected to tell me it would hurt for days as it still does!!!! This is when they realized my blood pressure wasn't lowering so they tried a different type of blood pressure medicine.

(Please note my theory that we are just geniue pigs and doctor's get paid a great deal more money to try and figure out everything!)

The doctor comes back in and begins to question me stronger.......have I ever come to any emergency room under the guidelines of a "headache". Keep in mind I have my head buried under this tiny pillow because the light was killing me, I felt like I could puke, and for the first time in my life my blood pressure is sky high and you are going to think I'm drug seeking?

Yes me and my pleasent self looked at him best I could almost in tears from pain and said I was in no mood to be second guessed and I was truely in pain and to ease his theory even better I am HIGHLY allergic to doctor's and hospitals that I REFUSE to see either of them unless I am SERIOUSLY IN PAIN OR SICK!!!! WE argued back an forth till I finally just refused to take it any longer and tried my best to leave, but of course no one would let me :angry!!! I bet it if the batcave were in town I bet I could have gotten her there to take care of it for me :smile. Yet, I handle this one alone ~

He finally left, apparently thinking I was faking it, as he never came back in. The nurse kept coming back in and was showing great concern about my blood pressure and kept asking me you have never had trouble before? NO NO NO NO NO I had not, I have the opposite problem LOW blood pressure. I was being questioned about my motives so badly that I finally told Speed to go home and get my medical records so they could read for themselves!!!! This seemed to ease at least the nurses cause for concern she left and came back with different blood pressure medicine as I was now at 208 over 115.

We waited for who knows how long, because by now the other med's were kicking in and I was in and out of sleep coma ~ Speed kept trying to keep me awake since I had a hospital gown on and he knew he'd have to try and dress me in coma state. They finally around 9 p.m. released me from the hospital with my blood pressure at 119 over 111.

According to my iriate mother that was still stroke level and what were they thinking as well as my mother n law. UUGGGHHH.......

So on Monday, I go to the OBGYN about the other problem, my blood pressure was normal, still had the stupid headache, but blood pressure normal. However not for long checked it today and it is not as high but according to everyone still high 179 over 104. Apparently if the doctor's aren't concerned I don't know what the big whaptie do is................all I know is I want MY HEADACHE TO GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
