Well yesterday Q17 became an official card carrying licensed driver in this state we live in! He has a truck waiting for him at the ex husband's house, however, ex hubby conviently is making us drive to that neck of the woods to get it for hm. :errrr Yeah like we have time like that just waiting for us to take a vacation :lol.

Anyways, as any teenager just getting their license, he was anxiously awaiting to get behind the wheel of a car unsupervised by mom or dad. So since baseball practice was so early on a morning that they didn't have school, I let him take my car under MAJOR protest for several reasons. Most importatnt reason my tags are out of my car!!! So I tell him about that and tell him I don't want him driving until I get them taken care of, but he begged, then begged some more this a.m., before coffee and before even one eye cracked open and he won.

So off he goes, happy as a lark to pick up one of his buddies and off to practice. He finally wanders himself home late this afternoon and when he walked in he was visibilly shaking like a leaf and looked like he had seen a ghost.

With a deep breath and fearing what I was about to hear, I asked him what is wrong??? He looks at me almost in tears and says I will not drive that car again until you get it inspected. :hum

Okay, so what happened??? His first day behind the wheel, the car apparently died on him at the field. We later found out a loose battery wire for that problem. Second item, his first day out he gets pulled over!!!! For what you might wonder? My inspection sticker that I warned him about!!! Poor baby!!!

So tomorrow, I'm off to get the car inspected and everything taken care of so that he can at least try and head out and not get in trouble next time!!! :lol

Well, in our household, if life wasn't busy enough for us, baseball season kicked in full force!!!! Just this week alone, let's see if I can break down our disfunctional life.....................Speedbump, away on a business trip in Atlanta the first part of the week. During that time, for the first time in our married life, we had to arrange, take to school, pick ups, gymnastics, baseball practice, baseball games; which were suppose to be home and due to field issues wound up away; leaving me scrambling to find places for Little Ms. Prissy to go on school nights so I could go to games, get home, get Ms. Prissy, get her to bed and homework, feed Q17, calm him down get him to bed. Then my night began.....laundry, cleaning house, taking care of the other children whom were on complete strike and dysfunction.....yes the dogs. And somewhere during all that mania speed and myself talking for 5 minutes at best to discuss the days events..............

The saga continues.........

Ms. Prissy has a break down missing "daddy", Q17 thinks I'm an idioit and challenges me and my authority, he lost badly, Ms. Prissy looses another tooth, and somewhere in all this I have to figure in time to work from home. HA

Finally Speed makes it home safely, says another thank you prayer!!!! Ms. Prissy is up before 6 a.m. as she missed her daddy, but daddy has to be gone by 6:30 a.m. the next day after getting home close to midnight . No time for mom and dad.......up at the crack of dawn for the begining of a baseball tournment weekend!!! Starting of course TODAY!!! Neither Speed nor myself were able to make it to games today, but tomorrow, during my work schedule I had to schedule after school pick ups for Ms. Prissy, rides to the out of town tournmantes for myself, Speed working on bids needed in ASAP and Speed and I looking at each other in wonder of where does it end..........

Then to add to the already hetic schedule a phone call comes in from a scout pushing us to committ Q17 to his team for the summer. Not this early in the game, and so many other high possiblities out there from last year, I'm not committing to anything yet!!! Especially at the price being asked!!! Ms. Prissy's melt down due to pure exhaustion, the scout not taking the hint causing us to say WE HAVE TO GO NOW!!! Q17 and boys wandering in and talking about the games tonight........and recaping the scouting talks from the night before I had with 5 major league scouts about Q17.

Yet at the end of this gripe, you are right I wouldn't trade it for the world. What I've learned through all this caous.......I actually do love my husband and would be locked up by now without him :lol, my eldest pride and joy is excelling, growing and beyond all I could have dreamed for his future............he is working for his DREAM!!!! My yongest pride and joy, although right now feeling jilted and neglected, is excelling in gynmastics and social life, she is beautiful and about to turn SEVEN in less than 2 weeks..............where does the time go????

In summary, life is busy, hetic, confussing and frustrating as all get out in a nut shell, but when one lays down and closes one's eyes, it is with a smile, heart full of love, and tears of joy...................my kids are HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not all bad, now mama needs to work for her dream if she can ever remember what that was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to take a quick moment and wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!

Ms. Prissy Princess is finally back in school after being sick all last week. With our wackey weather here in Texas it is a wonder that all of us aren't constantly sick. From cold weather back to hot weather back to cold all in the same week :shakehead. I hate to know what this summer is going to be like :flames.

Q17 and our studly team are playing their second scrimage game today. With everything going on with all of our different schedules I am missing it :walk_sad but they play again Friday night, and gladly at home!!!! I just hope that the weather allows it to happen!!! We are expecting exteremly cold weather after in the high 70's low 80's then it is to drop to a high of 40 if we are lucky!!!

I'm making Kg's taco salad while they are on the field to have something for all of them to eat once home. I must say thank goodness for kg's famous taco salad, it keeps well and it is a HUGE hit around this house and our team!!!

Well I must depart for now too much to do around here ~ wishing everyone again a Happy Valentine's Day!!! :kisses

Well we had a very busy weekend around here!! I just wish Ms. Prissy Princess felt better as she has come down with something and took away some of the enjoyment of all her fun. Q17 was off a buzz with baseball stuff.

The hardest thing for me was allowing Q17 to have a night out, note: ALL NIGHT, with no adult supervision, with the Varsity baseball team to kick off the season. Apparently this is a tradition :scared Then they were off the next day for a full day of baseball practice, working on the field and eventually he found his way home to sleep the remainder of the day!!! Only to wake up and off again with the baseball crew :head.

Then Ms. Prissy's day was going in the complete opposite direction, which is par for the course here!!! Ms. Prissy started her weekend spending the night with a neighborhood friend and then the next day trying to bargin about the already set plans. There was a birthday party she would have thrown a wall eyed fit if she missed, but yet she still wanted to go to a soccor game with her friend. :eyes She wound up going to the party and getting home not feeling so well, but she had a date for that night. So I had her take it easy for the few hours before her "big night" and then began getting her ready.

However, she looked so tired and a bit grouchy, I didn't know how long she'd last. Yet she was determined she was continuing with her plans. Her "big date" was to her first dance with her daddy. And yes click below and you can see photo!!! She had a good time, but by the time she got home, she was burning up with a fever and has been sick ever since; my poor baby. Tomorrow off to the doctor we go...........

Boy has our lives exploded around here, between working and our kids schedules and social lives, I was begining to wonder if I remembered how to use this machine! :biggrin
