Boy has our lives exploded around here, between working and our kids schedules and social lives, I was begining to wonder if I remembered how to use this machine! :biggrin
Well this weekend is the official kick off of baseball season at Q17's school. The boys are so ready to hit the field and begin showing their stuff, not just for possible scouting issues, but to settle some scores at previous schools. It is so fun watching the excitement in these boys that even me, Ms. Non-baseball mom is excited to attend the games. The feeling is contagious (who said I could spell :smile).
Since tryouts, practice and the like have kicked in earlier this week, Q17 and crew don't even show their faces until almost 9 p.m. at night. Makes for creative cooking and family planning let me tell ya. However, it sure is nice when Q17 shows up on his off period to spend time with mom!!! :biggrin mama proud :smile!!
Ms. Prissy Princess takes up the time while big brother is out of the mix...we are on the run with gymnastics, school and a social life that would make Paris Hilton jealous!!!! She is so grown and smart it really scares me for what Speedbump and I are in for!!!!
So just by those two factors alone, you can see that Speedbump and I are constantly on the run and still have to put in our schedule work, cooking, housecleaning, laundry, time for us, family and all that brings a family together and stable.
In the mix of all that, the best suprise and fun that I myself have experienced, was finally reconnecting with the batcave!!!!! :biggrin!!!! With their already hectic growling schedule with three kids, then to top it off with kg being sick, has put a damper on our get togethers and phone calls. But boy howdy when we finally do reconnect we have a blast!!!!! The problems of the world could be sovled in our get togethers trust me!!! :biggrin I look forward to many more and we had all that fun without involving alcohol this go round :lol.
However, Kg got me in some serious trouble with Ms. Prissy Princess. She was hot when she found out she was here visiting and absolutely LIVID when she found out big brother got to see "Aunt kg" and not she didn't!!!! Ms. Prissy informed me I should have checked her out of school because "Aunt kg" was family!!!! Boy howdy do I have my hands full!!!!
Well I must close as my house is being taken over by 17 and 18 year old boys at the moment screaming for me to cook something!!! I guess the saying is true a mom's job is never done!!!!
