By the web master it is time to update. Plus I have been informed we have some "idenity" issues going on with one of my children in reference to the title "Mama T". :biglaugha Okay for the few that understand what I'm talking about, let me break it down, here in hell Texas all the kids call me "mama T" as they call my son by his last name which starts with a T. However, for "T", the webmaster, in her group she is also called "mama T", along with a few other names from others "T", "Aunt T'sey" and well a few other's I have thrown in along the way :biggrin. :biglaugha Now that I have cleared that up...............I have been instructed how dare I inform other's to update and then bitch when post are very short and I have yet to update. Well the answer to that question is simple.......
I have NO LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And outside of that obvious factor I also have NO READERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In summary my life revolves around others, primarily my kids, dogs and hubby and usually in that order for reasons I won't post here!!! So to break in down in that fashion..
My kids are rounding out the end of the year one's 1st grade and the second his junior year..........ekkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk I will be the proud mother of a second grader and a SENIOR next year. I'm so not prepared!
Ms. Prissy Princess is young enough she is trying to find her "nitch" in life other than stealing Paris Hilton's social calander. Me as her mother is trying to help her along to find her passion and apparently her only passion at this moment in time is getting her own cell phone........okay STOP THE PRESSES!!!! She is now in gymnastics, but her heart isn't in it, so she wants to try cheerleading and dance. So I'm frantically trying to accomidate apparently in her eyes not fast enough..........................uugghhh.............other than those issues, she has a tan I'm envious of, a social life I could only pray for due to time zone issues, and least but not less she has a heart of gold!!!
Q17 where do I begin??? He is turning into well a MAN!!! Okay some will say that is good ~ hump ~ walk my shoes on his bad "MAN" day and you'll be preaching a different sermon let me tell ya!!! He is excelling beyond issues I can not even wrap my mind around in baseball. If he continues to excell this way, keeps his grades up, and takes care of himself the world is his oyster ~ or whatever the saying is ~ yes it scares me to admit he is that good!!! Too bad other's can't realize their late entry in his life was not what made him what he has become today. A positive influence, some yes, but they didn't have nor have had sleepless nights on trying to make sure his dreams were obtained. I can name on one hand how many have done that!!! When I admit that, I'm called overprotective, (which I don't deny), or refuse to cut the "apron strings". Apparently they don't know me well :biggrin.
Yet, on that note, Q17 has a big tournment coming up the first part in June. Of course I am at least upgrading from hell to the one of the arm pits of America. Texas to Oklahoma. T will get a kick out of this, some she already knows, but some she doesn't. So I get names of local motels in this podunck (however you spell it) town. Apparently, according to one night person's version from one of the motels I called to make reservasions, personally I love this quote "We aren't Atoka, but we are maybe a grain or less above them". Yeah I think I'm going to enjoy this week in Ok ~ HA NOT!!!!!!! Anyhoot, after calling one motel and asking for their cheapest rate and I was quote 100.00 a night;note I have to be there for 8 nights; I laughed and asked for that price is Toby Keith going to spend 8 nights with me and everyone holds their breath and hope it takes for the "love child" along with 14 k toliet lids. Apparently the woman has absolutely NO SENSE OF HUMOR and T told me I probably shot my price up at least another hundred. Okay now I can laugh I now have reservations and after I told my last possible hope of bookings for that week what I said to the 100.00 a night person she gave me a discount and told me she can't wait to meet me. Of course I told her be careful what one wishes for :biggrin. Regardless the cheaper rate a night even at a discount, this upcoming trip is going to be a financial beating!!! However, this is one step further for Q17 to fulfill his dream and after all isn't that what mama's are for ~ helping their children fulfill their dream????
The only worry is this now, if Q17's dream doesn't come true in less than 10 years, regardless what Prissy Princess dreams for I'm back on the band wagon for her also. :cocktail and please supply MANY!!!
I guess at the end of the day, what not only amazes me, shocks me, and hurts me is the ignorance of others and what they seem to think they know about me. Very few people know I would give my life for either and/or both on any given day just to make sure they obtained their dreams and didn't settle like I did for a life of trying to figure out "why am I here". I have come to the conclusion, I'm here for my kids. For one of them, I almost did lose my life bringing them into the world and for the other I would gladly give my life as long as I went to my grave with both of their smiles and happiness from them to eternity. Isn't that what a mom is suppose to be????
How come, only my very few friends, parents (suprisingly) and brother (again another shocker) and my kids get it and or get me??????
