Everyone knows I don't care for Texas, well guess what, I care even less for Oklahoma!!!!!! However, for the first time in 10 years, Team Texas took the championship of the Sunbelt Classic!!!!!
Q17 had some major attitude adjustments that needed corrected, which finally happened towards the end of the week. Ms. Prissy thought we drove all the way to Okie hell for her to swim 24/7. However, there were two days where the game wasn't till night time, so the kids swam and the mother's sat around the pool talking and getting some sun. And boy howdy, I got a very very good start on my tan!!!
Now to start things off right ~ this photo is for T'sey ~ since I know how much she is missing this town :biggrin

See T'sey I thought of you
!!!
A few things I learned while in Oklahoma ~
There is not ONE Starbucks!!! NOT ONE!!! What is up with all that???? Which sent my body into lack of caffine shock!!!
The first one I could find was on my way home and I was so happy to see it I had to take a photo!!!! And yes I stopped and bought the largest cup of coffee I could to bring me back to life :biggrin.

YEAH BABY!!!!! ![]()
Another thing I learned in Okie hell ~ there sure is a lot of advertisment for rehab clinics. They advertise more for them than for anything else!!!
In my stay in Okie hell, I learned why they have so much advertisement for rehab :biggrin. There is nothing else to do!!!!
However, I did get lucky enough to stay at a really cool hotel!!! The whole hotel was decorated like a sock hop and each room was called like the Elvis room, James Dean room, Marylin Monroe room etc I had James Dean. I did manage to get a photo of Q17 and Prissy Princess in front of the jukebox.

For the girls at the Happy Days Motel........let me break it down for you.....Ms. Prissy cheats A ~ :biggrin........thanks for the warm welcome and constant attention from your staff.......it made a Diva's life wonderful!!!!
Even though I was stuck in Okie Hell, I was able to find some enjoyment. I met some really nice people and I also met a lady that other's are terrified we live so close in proximity of one another. See apparently we are just alike when it comes to our kids we were quite a pair. Q17 told her he felt right at home around her because she and I must have been seperated at birth :biggrin. Her son is also a catcher and plays second base. In our time together Q17 found out he likes his nick name after all, but of course not before having team mates telling him that they think it is a cool nick name!!!

Also during our trip from the same family, Ms Prissy found her a new boyfriend!!!

And let me tell ya, my back side still hurts from those stupid stands!!! But isn't that just a cute photo??? Well I think so :biggrin.
Now I'm sure I have bored everyone to tears except my mother n law *waving*. But I do have to add this photo!!! Mom I'll get some of these pic's over to you soon. Here is Q17 and Ms. Prissy with the plaque the coach got for his team winning the Sunbelt!!!

Anyhoot we suffered through Okie hell and have safely arrived back in Texas non worse for the wear! Tootles for now!!!!

miss the town? heck no! miss what's in that town? most definitally! But since I will be there a week and 2 days from now...*rolling eyes*
and as you know, according to starbucks.com, there are actually 34 starbucks in OK, with 7 of them in Tulsa *s* I can't help it if your other half has no sense of direction and can't find one LOL
Yes, there are a lot of advertisements for it...because it is such a problem up there, which most don't realize because it's not an 'inner city' or a 'typical' place you would have that kind of problem.
Congrats to Q17 on the win! Give them both a big hug from me...I wish I could see them this trip, but time is just not going to allow for it :-(
Cute pics!!! Tell the kiddo I'm proud of him for kickin' some ass and makin' us Texans proud! Gotta go out and do that sometimes!
Enjoyed the pics of the kids. So happy for Ryan to have his team win the tournament. Don't worry about Joannie getting boyfriends, I don't think that will be a "problem" (Ha, ha) Send more pics.
NO STARBUCKS?? That's just wrong! We have one every half a mile here, and I'm becoming addicted.
HUGSSSSSSSSS to Ryan and his team for their win! Gawd...did that kid grow since you took the last pictures of him? Is he as tall as Tex now? You have to be SOOOOOOOOOo proud of him!
I'm sure the Prissy Princess loved the swimming and has the taste to pick out a boyfriend with either a DVD player or a computer.
Well...you're lucky to be home, where there's no caffeine deprivation. Way to go, Team Texas!
