I Knew This Would Happen

| | Comments (1)

If I started moving furniture during my cleaning!!! Yes, at this very moment, my bedroom is literally pulled completely apart!!! With 4 dogs one has to do this on a regular basis and I have been putting it off for awhile for one reason or another but bottom line because I knew what I was in for and here it is proof in the pudding!! The dust, the fur etc I'm digging around and cleaning as one should and then I tackle the walls ugghhh!!! My arms and back are killing me and this is only one room. However, this would be the worse room in the house due to all the electronics in here which are a screaming dust and fur ball dust magnetic!!! Plus this is where the dogs tend to hang out during the day and at night and not to mention the rest of the rooms get this kind of treatment on a more regular basis. Since my bedroom also houses the office I tend to try and clean this one last and it is the house of where everything goes where you aren't sure it goes at the time. Yet when the day comes to tear it apart one feels like I do now and constantly regreting that one has put it off till now HUMPF!!!

On the flip side of this back breaking chore though is this a happy note at least my bedroom will be in good shape of "spring house" cleaning until the next time it calls for such drastic measures on behalf :biggrin

So what are you doing over your weekend???

Interesting To Listen

|

When your kids come home from school and tell you about discussions that happend during class on dates in history. Well I learned alot today from Q18. Most important thing he actually listens ~ :woo ~ second apparently the teacher had the same reaction I did when he announced to me about the discussion!!

Q18 comes home and sits down and ask "Mama, do you think 9/11 was a consipirsy of the government?" Me shaking my head I say "What?" He asked me again and I said "no I don't believe it was a consipirisey of the government, do I believe that the government had some knowledge, yes I have thought that all along and it has been proven that in the commission report that the Cliton administration did have and ignored the threat of 9/11" Then he asked me did I believe that Neal Armstong was actually the first person to walk on the moon or did they film it in a stuido in California. By this time I'm shaking my head asking him what on earth was he talking about and where would he get an idea like that?

Common question for me since well lets face it Q18 can come up with some far fetched ideas/thoughts/ and phrases that leave many shaking thier heads in disbelief!!!

Anyways more to the point that was a discussion that transpired in his government and journalism classes. He told me that most of his class stated that 9/11 was a government consipirisy and that Neal Armstrong did not walk on the moon.

So my natural response to him was "and you said or thought or verbalized???" He said he just sat there and listened saying nothing. I asked him what did the teacher have to say and he said the teacher just asked in a "persepective" type of discussion "Did they believe the holocaust (however you spell it) happended" that is the only thing they all agreed did happen.

It just amazes me how things change yet stay the same in the mind set of people. It is also very frightening to say the least!!!

On today's date that has been burned not only in our memories, but our hearts I want to take a moment of silence to remember those who lost their lives no matter their skin color, beliefs etc and for those whom are serving our country to protect our freedom and those whom have lost their lives protecting our country. Lives have been lost, families have been broken and heart broken, regarless who they died children are without a parent/s and parents are without child/ren. Today should be a day of honor, memory and gratefulness.

Today and always we honor them all!!!

Starbucks Needs A Dictionary!!!

|

So I go to get my addiction a tall Starbucks carmel mocha drink ~ as I place my order, my mouth waters as I look forward to sipping on my tall warm drink which I am so addicted too!!!! Only to have my order called and me rush up to the counter and stop dead in my tracks. Surely they made a mistake it was a very small cup so I smile and tell the guy, you must have made a mistake I ordered the TALL one. He smiled back and said, that is the tall one we do have smaller!!

Here is my thought, if you are going to cut the drink size below half of what it was why did you not lower your price!!! I'm not happy with Starbucks I need to find out how to complain I mean really after two swallows it is gone and they call that a large!!! I sooooo think not!!!

I can see Kristi sitting at her computer stewing ~ reaching for her phone to lecture me about how I am to stay away from such little pleasures in life ~ calm down lady I refuse to spend that kind of $$ on such a small cup of coffee and since I'm now band to decafe I guess my life is to adjust!!! *humpf*!!!!

However if they ever produce the correct size required for a TALL one I'll be the first in line rather I"m allowed or not ~ there are just some pleasures one must not miss in life and that is one of them!!!
