The day that every mother dreads; then there are mother's like me that rejoice ~ it is GRADUATION!!!!!
Okay in all seriousness Ryan is celebrating a great deal more than his mom ~ for his mom aka that would be me ~ I am constantly fighting back tears and fighting an unnamed coach ~ ohh screw it fighting Coach A and his stupidity!!
Well baseball season is in full swing now, however, Q18 is missing a great deal of it!!! I feel like Lynus from the "Peanuts" gang carrying my ever so faithful blanket around with me and the never ending black cloud following me where ever I go and turning to dust anything I touch!!!
This was suppose to be Q18's year, more importantly, break out year!!! He started out wonderful then a week ago Friday he started complaining his body hurt. I just chalked it up to him being over utlilized with the team. We had been fighting BAD and I had no intentions of attending the game that night, to make a point, not to mention I really was not up to it with all I have been going through physically. However, he begged, he wasn't feeling good, he begged and I gave in!!
From the moment I walked up and saw him pitch I knew something was really wrong ~ it was more than he wasn't on his A game something was really really off!!! He still won the game but you could tell Q18 wasn't up to par...
Later that night, Q18 did something he never does unless he is really sick, he crawled up on the couch with me to cuddle and watch TV. He gave up going out with friends and girlfriend to cuddle with mom, yeah baby something is wrong!!!
Well long story short, he had not been out of bed since a week ago Friday!!! He went to the doctor ~ strep throat ~ med's followed by rash ~ back to the doctor we go ~ new med's and rash is a strep throat rash ~ NOT which I argue with them about. Yes I know hard to believe I'd tell a doctor how to their job but well I did!!!
Rash getting worse so is Q18 ~ emergency room visit ~ rash allergic reaction to Zpack med's which apparently stay in his system for 21 days ~ first diagnosis spinal meningitis (however you spell it) luckily false ~ he has strep throat and mono with a Zpack med allergic reaction.
He is off the mound for at least the next 2 weeks and out of school now going on his second week.
Now Prissy Princess is starting with same actions as Q18 taking preventive actions going to doctor AGAIN 4 times in a week to make sure she is okay!!
Poor speedbump he is dragging trying to pick up the slack since I still haven't been able to get back to par fighting this and that since surgery...........can I just say THIS IS ROUGH!!!

Hubby has been a real sweetheart to me during my time down. Poor thing has been playing single parenthood during all this time I've been sick. I don't know what I would have done if he hadn't been here to hold my hand, literally, during being sick. Still having a terrible time of it today being a really bad day, but Speedbump has coddled me and taken care of me. I hate that I still can't drive or even feel good enough to go out and about as he turns 40 Monday.
I usually do a big whop te do for him on his birthdays, but this year I'll be lucky if I can even manage to get him a card, much less throw a party. *huge pout*. Hopefully I'll start feeling normal again soon so I can put together something for him late, but something non the less.
Then I have to try and pull myself out of my stupper quickly because Ms. Prissy Princess turns 8 March 5th. I have no idea where I'm going to give her a party this year, get her for her birthday or what type cake. Everything keeps sneaking up on me while I am struggling just to get up and take a shower LOL. I know wooo so pitiful me LOL.

After the wonderful drive up there (see post below) we finally arrived in Pavillion Wyoming around 9 p.m. Saturday night. From this point on I will refer to Pavillion as Podunkville. As we head into Podunkville we have NO cell service not even a glimpse of one the whole time we are there and mama had to meet us at one of the two bars in Podunkville to drive us to the their new house out in the middle of nowhere!!!! The only sign of life at my parents house besides them were cows and horses and if you think I'm kidding I will provide photo's here shortly. The cows turned out to be my source of entertainment and the source of my parents anxiety :). As a matter of fact, I had one of the cows become my alarm as he would moooo until I would come out and talk to him, he was number 29. Okay getting ahead of myself here ~
Well nothing much is happening in our neck of the woods, just the normal day to day issues. However we do have some photo's and news to announce from our little abode!

Q18 attended Birdville's homecoming with a friend of his, we still have his school's homecoming towards the end of this month. He is taking his girlfriend to his homecoming which will require another mum. It is his senior year so "for the memories" I'm not too upset about it, I expected $$ hitting me in every direction on his senior year. At least little Ms. Prissy has a few years before I start having to deal with her high dollar issues or at least I hope :biggrin.
Then last week I applied for several part time jobs and luckily I landed one and start in the morning!! :mouse It is only about 15/20 hours a week, but it is also making it so I can still have my afternoons free to pick up Ms. Prissy and deal with baseball etc. I'm really excited about it!!!! It does have the possibilty of turning into a full time position, but right now it works great with our house schedule. Not sure if I will work every morning a few hours or a few days a week hopefully will find all that out tomorrow a.m.

Well the school finally got the photo issue right!!! Ms. Prissy Princess came home with her recent photo's and they are just down right ADORABLE if I say so myself!!
Then last night we got a huge suprise. The phone rang and displayed the local paper. I just figured it was a solication and answered it. Glad I did, as it was one of the reports calling Q17 at home to interview him. Of course then the issue comes into play ~ PANIC!! So we had to listen closely so that Q17 didn't sound the same way when he talks with us ~ ummmm yeah ummmm ummm mobble mobble ummmm. From what we could hear he sounded like he knew what he was talking about! Mircles never cease do they :biggrin.

I hope everyone had a very happy Easter today and the Easter Bunny found his way to visit you too!!! :biggrin.
I had a very cute Easter moment this a.m. Believe it or not I was awake before everyone this a.m. I was able to enjoy a couple cups of coffee before having to hit the shower to get ready for church. As I'm getting ready to hit the shower I see a flash of strawberry blonde hair run through my room like a streak of lightening. I must admit curiosity got the better of me so I went to investigate. Well come to find out the Easter bunny was very nice to Ms. Prissy Princess so she wanted to make sure that Q17 and daddy and myself got something too. Isn't that soooooooooo sweet :biggrin. However I did inform her that the Easter Bunny took care of all of us, however, she was the youngest so the Easter bunny took extra special care of her. She seemed pleased with that explanination and after looking to make sure that was correct she then quickly picked up her items and replaced them with the Easter Bunny items.
I have to admit she was a little darlin' today. Only one melt down and brief at that. :lol She has a bad sunburn going on from yesterday. I guess living in heat that is equal to hell tempature so early in the upcoming miserable summer in Texas it will at least give her a great jump start on a great tan.
Well we all got up and went to church and my crew all looked amazing. Speedbump cleans up real well and apparently so do my kids :biggrin. If you'd like to take a lookie see photo's are below!

Well Q17 did it ~ in the worst of surrounding of circumstances of a tournament, but the last game he DID IT!!!
We had a tournament out of town this past weekend and Q17 pitched the last game and pitched a no hitter!!!! It wasn't a perfect game, he had one get a hit off him, (meaning the guy made contact with the ball, but it was an error so the hit didn't count) but other than that it would have been a no hitter perfect game. Talk about a proud mama moment ~ that is one of my many proudest moments!!!
This weekend was hard for the team! It was suppose to be a trip that brought the team together like last year when we went to Tyler, however, this year it failed terribly!!! If anything the team was more torn than drawn together more than anyone could have imagined. Yet during the last game when Q17 pitched the last game of the tournament he and his catcher went out there and had a blast together and the outcome of the game showed the talent of coming together. We won 11 to 0 !!! Then to top it all off Q17 won a metal along with two of my other boys!!!
I'm so proud of my boys!!!!
Speedbump and Ms. Prissy stayed home to watched the dogs and it was really nice coming home to them and spending time together as a family before being bombared by most of my boys once we got home.

Well things are still as crazy around here as always with some added new unwanted adventures this week!
Mom n law was admitted into the hospital with renal failure. She is doing better now, but they are still trying to determine rather kidney transplant or dialysis. Nonnie (grandmother) came into town this week to be with her in the hospital and stayed over here the night before she went back. It was great to see her just wish we could have spent more time with her. Towards the end of the week father n law had to go back in the hospital to get his heart shocked back into correct rhythm. That was all the happenings outside our house.....
After having a very emotional weekend with my daddy's retirement *read entry below*. We then headed off to Myrtle Beach South Carolina for a week, my old stomping grounds to be exact. I have not been back since I was 18 years old, little ms. prissy princess has never seen the ocean, and Q16 picked up where I left off so many years ago!!!
Little Ms. Prissy Princess was about to bust a gut to get down to the beach once we got there, however, she had to wait for us to get the camper set up. Q16 was already scooping out prospects and landed one right beside our site and quickly made friends. She helped him put up his tent and the day she left she cooked him a huge breakfast and brought it over for him. *rolling eyes* I just began calling him "studly"!!!
The kids and I have returned safe and sound from our 2 in a half week stay with my parents. For the most part, the trip was fun and enjoyable, however, my mother and I together longer than a long weekend things tend to get "tense". And the night before I left it blew :let_it_all_out !!!
Now some quick highlights of our trip ~
Daddy's retirement was met with mixed emotions. Daddy needed to retire there is no doubt of that but he has been the minister at the same church for 29 years so it was like saying good bye to a large family. Although only saying good bye as being the "preachers kid" but not saying good bye to the friendships!!! You can view a few photo's if you'd like below.....
And T please note I resized these thank you very much :biggrin!!!! And all just for you :sun_smiley Okay some are still large, but I resized them as low as I could without them becoming distorted!!! At least I tried :biggrin!!!

For my trip home! This time for longer than a few days. I'm excited, depressed, scared, mad and sad!! The reason for the trip home is for a multiple of reasons. First off: a week from Sunday is my daddy's last sermon in a church that I have been raised in as he stood in the pulpit. For almost 30 years of my life my church home has always been that tiny mill church on the outskirts of town.
